Vow Renewal Ceremony

Renewing your wedding vows in the presence of your children, family and friends can be a beautiful and enlightening ceremony. You may have been married for just a short time or many, many years and wish to again publicly declare to the world, the love and respect you have for each other and for the life you have built together. What a great life lesson for your children to witness as their parents join hearts and hands to reaffirm their love and commitment to each other.
Vow renewal ceremonies are often my most favourite celebration as the situation is less formal than a wedding and much more about you and your partner. You can do all the things that you may not have had the opportunity to do on your wedding day. You may choose to dance down the aisle to a favourite song with your grandchildren, just having fun! The possibilities are endless and the choice is yours!
Renewing Your Wedding Vows (example)
(Brian), 25 years ago, I pledged my love and commitment to you. I promised to love and honour you. I pledged to be by your side in sickness and in health, in times of want, and times of plenty, for better or worse, for the rest of our lives. We have had all of those things, and you have been by my side as we created a family, a home and a life together. Today, at the beginning of our 26th year as husband and wife, in the presence of God (optional), our children, grandchildren, family and friends, I renew my vows to you, pledging my eternal love for you, and looking forward to what life may bring us.
